The Centre for Youth Empowerment Health Rights Ghana (CYEHRG) is a community driven organization committed to advancing human rights, health, and empowerment for marginalized communities, particularly LGBTQI+ individuals and survivors of gender-based violence (GBV).

Founded in 2022, CYEHRG strives to create a safe and inclusive environment where every young person and vulnerable group can thrive. We believe that empowered youth are essential to building a just and equitable society.

About Our Organization

Defining our Organization

The Centre for Youth Empowerment Health Rights Ghana (CYEHRG) is a community-driven organization dedicated to promoting human rights, sexual and reproductive health, and the well-being of marginalized communities, particularly LGBTQI+ individuals.

We provide psychosocial support, advocacy, and capacity-building programs to empower young people and human rights defenders. Our initiatives include safety and security awareness, gender-based violence response, and online outreach campaigns.

Through virtual engagement, community visits, and partnerships, we work to create a safer, more inclusive society where everyone can live with dignity and access their rights.
