Centre for Youth Empowerment Health Rights Ghana (CYEHRG) is a community-driven non-governmental and not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable and marginalized groups with a focus on Gender and Sexual minorities and advocating for All human rights. Through psychosocial support, safety initiatives, Health initiatives, and education, we create safe spaces for empowerment and resilience. Our work spans mental health counseling, gender-based violence response, legal rights awareness, and digital safety in Ghana Operating across Bono, Ahafo, and Bono East, we use grassroots engagement and community outreach to drive change.

At the Centre for Youth Empowerment Health Rights Ghana (CYEHRG), we recognize the importance of mental well-being in building resilience and empowerment. Our Psychosocial Support Services particularly for  LGBTQI+ persons and survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), through first-response psychosocial support.

GBV RESPONSE SERVICES

 
 

At the Centre for Youth Empowerment Health Rights Ghana (CYEHRG), we are committed to addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV) through support, advocacy, and prevention initiatives. Our services aim to protect and empower survivors while creating safer communities.

Our Key GBV Services Include:

Psychosocial Support: Providing first-response psychosocial to help GBV survivors.
 Safety & Security Awareness: Educating communities on risk reduction and personal safety strategies.
 Rapid Response & Referrals: Connecting survivors to emergency assistance, and healthcare services.
 Online Awareness & Advocacy: Using digital platforms to educate, report hotspots, and advocate for the marginalized.
Case Documentation & Reporting: Partnering with organizations like Rightify Ghana to ensure GBV cases are properly recorded and addressed.

We believe in a survivor-centered approach, ensuring confidentiality, respect, and empowerment for those affected by GBV.
